One of the first firms to specialize in GIS, HDM has provided geospatial intelligence and location based technology to government clients since 1988. HDM understands the complexities of all levels of government. Kija Kim, HDM's President, has worked extensively in the government arena, serving on many state and national government boards and commissions. David Chadwick, General Manager of HDM/First American Federal Solutions, retired from the U.S. Marine Corps as Colonel and Deputy Chief Information Officer (CIO), and has worked in private industry for over ten years. HDM's Chief Technology Officer, Dr. Wei Du, has fifteen years of experience successfully developing large-scale applications for government, including FEMA’s Management Information Portal. HDM uses this knowledge bank along with the system tools developed for previous projects, to provide our government clients with the highest quality, most cost efficient solutions. Federal Government Experience HDM has worked with more than 20 U.S. Government cabinet level departments and agencies on systems development and policy directed projects. Our ongoing relationships with these government agencies, including FEMA and DOT, extend back more than ten years. State and Local Government HDM has a long history of working closely with state and local governments in the development of web based and networked GIS systems.
