Kija Kim receives Academy of Women Achievers Award

Cambridge, MA ... More than 300 people attended the YWCA Boston's first annual Academy of Women Achievers awards luncheon at the Copley Plaza Hotel. The luncheon honored ten women who were recognized for their exemplary achievement and leadership in the greater Boston community. These women were inducted into the YWCA Boston's first class of the Academy of Woman Achievers-the beginning of a tradition to be continued for years to come.

Kija Kim, President of Harvard Design and Mapping, was among the ten award recipients. Expressing her appreciation, Ms Kim stated, "I am so pleased that the YWCA chose to honor me with this award."

Kim is co-founder, president and CEO of Harvard Design & Mapping Company (HDM) of Cambridge, MA. The company specializes in geographic information systems (GIS) and desktop mapping applications.
