Kija Kim Attends White House Announcement For Immediate Release
Cambridge, MA ... Ms. Kija Kim, President of Harvard Design & Mapping Co., Inc. (HDM) was invited to the White House today to attend President Clinton's announcement of the Community Development Banking Proposal and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Reform Initiative. Both of these two efforts focus on revitalizing and increasing the flow of capital to distressed communities. This is Ms. Kim's third visit to the White House since April to meet with senior level Clinton Administration officials. In April, she attended a special White House Meeting on President Clinton's Economic Stimulus Plan. Ms. Kim also attended the White House Summit on Minority Business Development on April 6, where she joined other business leaders and Senior Clinton Administration to discuss the role of minority businesses in the new Administration. The participants will meet regularly as an advisory committee to President Clinton on matters relating to minority business issues. Since 1988, HDM, a Cambridge, MA based high-tech computer mapping company, has reached success as a leader in the technical field of GIS and is also a highly visible participant in public affairs.
