HDM President Appointed to Several Boards

Cambridge, MA ... Ms. Kija Kim, President of Harvard Design & Mapping Co., Inc. (HDM) was recently appointed to several prestigious technology and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) boards and commissions.

Ms. Kim's Board of Directors appointments include the National Center for Geographic Information and Analysis (NCGIA), a consortium of three universities conducting basic GIS research in a number of fields, and the Massachusetts Software Council, a non-profit trade association dedicated to promoting the Massachusetts software industry and to helping companies compete successfully in global markets.

Ms. Kim was also appointed to the founding committee of the GIS Center of the Library of Congress in Washington, DC. Additionally, Ms. Kim was appointed to the President's Council of Clark University, Worcester, MA. Clark University, where Ms. Kim attended graduate studies in Geography, is internationally known for their school of geography.
