Massachusetts Gubernatorial Candidate Visits HDM

Cambridge, MA … Massachusetts Republican gubernatorial candidate, Mitt Romney visited HDM’s Cambridge, MA office as part of his exploration of the issues facing large and small businesses.

Mr. Romney, the former President and CEO of the Salt Lake Olympic Organizing Committee and founder of Bain Capital, met with HDM’s President, Kija Kim, and Executive Vice President, Jim Aylward to gather their insights on the barriers to doing business in Massachusetts.

During a press conference at HDM, Ms. Kim stressed the need for a statewide economic plan. “A healthy business environment is the cornerstone of a healthy State economy. Business and government need to work together to create and sustain jobs, and increase the standard of living.” Ms. Kim said.

During this visit to HDM, his only public appearance on October 21, Mr. Romney confirmed his commitment to a strong partnership between business and government.
